The Kimono Top returns in Xiang Yun Silk Endless Bloom, a reversible heritage silk that unfolds in two expressions: the warm earthen brown of traditional Xiang Yun silk and a luminous black reverse, rich with shifting depth. The Endless Bloom jacquard features a continuous woven peony motif, delicately revealed through light. Wide kimono sleeves, an elegant neckline, and black organic cotton waist ties create a fluid silhouette that wraps softly around the body.

Materials + Care

Main 100% Silk
Trim 100% Cotton

One of China's oldest silk traditions, Xiangyun silk is transformed through a time-honored process guided by nature. The silk is traditionally steamed three times, boiled nine times with botanical dyes, and dried beneath the open sun eighteen times, before undergoing repeated cycles of river-water washing and iron-rich river mud coating. Only through this patient process does the fabric develop its distinctive richness, depth, and character.

Xiang Yun Silk Care Instructions
  • Hang on a hanger and spray or hose down with plain water
  • Let drip dry
  • Releasing wrinkles: Hang in a steamy bathroom while bathing or showering. The natural steam will help relax the wrinkles.
  • Use a steamer and a steam/pressing mitt or glove to release wrinkles
  • Avoid touching the fabric directly with the steamer to avoid water spots
  • May be pressed with an iron, on Silk or low setting
Storage
  • Keep protein-based silk protected from mildew and insects
  • Keep dry, away from direct sunlight and protected with moth repellents
  • Store only when clean and dry
  • Moisture-wicking products are recommended inside the drawer or wardrobe
  • Do not allow moth repellants to touch the fabric directly
  • Do not use more than one type of moth repellent at the same time.
